Award Criteria

Candidates for this Award must have demonstrated exceptional:

• Initiative
• Volunteerism
• Professional Development
• Achievement
• Leadership Potential

Eligibility

To be eligible the candidate must be a Professional or Associate RIMS member and be age 22–30 as of April 30, 2026.

Submission Requirements

Complete the online application.

Recognition

The Rising Risk Professional Award recipient(s) will be recognized at RISKWORLD 2026 in Philadelphia, PA.

Submission Deadline

Friday, January 16, 2026

Judging

Entries will be reviewed by the Member and Chapter Awards Committee. Members of the Committee who are members of the same chapter as the nominee or are long-standing personal friends/professional colleagues may be requested to exclude themselves from voting on the award. Entries submitted may be displayed, published, or disposed of after the award winner is selected and honored at RISKWORLD.

Notification

A representative of the Member and Chapter Awards Committee will notify the submitter shortly after judging has been completed. The submitter may choose to notify the recipient or may request that the Director of Membership notify them prior to RISKWORLD.
