Enterprise risk management (ERM) is increasingly seen as an integral part of an organization’s risk strategy, but barriers to total implementation still remain. In November 2010, the 7th annual RIMS Enterprise Risk Management Summit convened a group of risk professionals in San Francisco to discuss issues that affect how risk leaders can break through these barriers and maintain ERM relevance and momentum.
The major concepts that were developed during the Summit are outlined in a special report from RIMS, now available in the ERM Center of Excellence. RIMS encourages you to download the report (free to members) for more information on the challenges and solutions associated with ERM.
