More Than Twenty RIMS Chapters Experience Membership Growth

March 01, 2016

Increased Demand for Advanced Risk Management Capabilities Drives Practitioners to RIMS

NEW YORK (March 1, 2016) — Just as organizations continue to lean on their risk management departments to achieve strategic objectives, risk professionals around the world continue to lean on RIMS for resources and networking opportunities to deliver value to their organizations. As a result of this trend, 21 RIMS chapters will be honored at RIMS 2016 Annual Conference & Exhibition in San Diego for increasing membership.

The Membership Growth SuperStar and Star Awards are bestowed annually by RIMS to Society chapters that have experienced significant membership growth in the previous year.  The Membership SuperStar Award honors chapter growth of at least nine percent. The Star Award recognizes those chapters with growth of at least six percent but less than nine percent.
