RIMS Adds New Membership Category: Young Associate Member

NEW YORK (December 7, 2018) – To ensure that the Society remains accessible to the broadest range of industry professionals, RIMS, the risk management society™, introduced its new Young Associate Membership category.

The Young Associate Membership was created to accommodate professionals 25 years and under who are employed by organizations that provide products and/or services to risk management professionals. The category is intended to include brokers, underwriters, consultants, attorneys, accountants and others industry professionals.

“Many of our most experienced risk professional members got their start working as brokers, underwriters and other risk management solution providers,” said RIMS CEO Mary Roth. “We are proud to create this opportunity for future risk professionals to join our global community and experience, first-hand the value of RIMS.”

Risk managers who are 25 and younger can also join RIMS for a reduced rate of $149 (plus chapter dues) as a Young Professional individual.
