Society Honors 17 Local Chapters for Successfully Recruiting New Practitioners

NEW YORK (April 28, 2014) — The evolution of risk management has prompted industry professionals from around the globe to invest in RIMS and leverage its resources to advance their risk programs and excel professionally. To recognize RIMS chapters that have successfully increased their membership, the Society honored them with its annual Membership Growth SuperStar and Star Awards at the RIMS 2014 Annual Conference & Exhibition in Denver.

The SuperStar Award is presented to RIMS chapters that have shown growth of at least nine percent. The Star Award recognizes those with growth rates of at least six percent but less than nine percent.“The valuable resources that RIMS continues to provide is a direct result of our enthusiastic membership – a vast network of passionate risk professionals who unselfishly share and contribute to the success of their peers,” said RIMS Executive Director Mary Roth. “RIMS sincerely thanks and appreciates the hard work of our dedicated chapter officers who year-after-year deliver amazing opportunities to their local risk management communities and who play such an important role in attracting and retaining new members.”

  • RIMS Saskatchewan Chapter (Saskatoon/Regina, SK)
  • RIMS Toledo Chapter (Toledo, OH)
