RIMS Oregon Named Chapter of the Year / RIMS ECHO Awards Announced
NEW YORK (April 16, 2018) — RIMS, the risk management society™, presented its first Chapter of the Year Award to RIMS Oregon Chapter for delivering exceptional resources, programming and opportunities to local members in 2017. The Chapter of the Year honor is part of RIMS new ECHO Awards Program that also recognized four other chapters – RIMS Minnesota Chapter, RIMS Broward County Chapter, RIMS Chesapeake Chapter and RIMS New York Chapter – at RIMS 2018 Annual Conference & Exhibition in San Antonio.
The ECHO Awards Program – Enhancing CHapter Outcomes – honors chapters that have successfully aligned their programming with RIMS’ strategic priorities to Innovate, Develop, Engage and Advocate for the global risk management community. This year’s chapter recipients received ECHO Awards in the following categories:
• RIMS Chapter of the Year – RIMS Oregon Chapter
• Innovation – RIMS Minnesota Chapter
• Resource Development – RIMS Broward County Chapter
• Engagement – RIMS Chesapeake Chapter
• Advocacy – RIMS New York Chapter
