WORKSHOP: ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT
November 5 - 7, 2014
Ramada Plaza - Toronto
This newly revised workshop is designed for the risk executive who wants to understand the value a successful enterprise risk management (ERM) program can bring to an organization. Case studies, hands on exercises and an ERM Action Planner are used throughout the workshop bridge the gap between ERM theory and practice. This workshop is based on the Enterprise Risk Management textbook published by the Institutes.  The textbook is required reading for the workshop and must be purchased separately.
Instructor: Edward Robertson is the former Senior Manager of Enterprise Risk Management for the British Columbia Provincial Government (2002 to 2008) and author of BC Government’s Enterprise Risk Management Guidelines.

NEW! ONLINE COURSE:  DESIGNING AN ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK
Structuring a practical ERM framework can create and protect organizational value while improving efficiencies. Examine how governance drivers determine value in an organization’s ERM strategy. Gain commitment by aligning risk management objectives and performance indicators with the organization’s objectives and performance indicators. This course will help you design the scope of an ERM framework by aligning accountability, collaboration and communication. Each RIMS Online Course is worth one credit towards RIMS Fellow.
