NEW YORK (April 27, 2015) —RIMS has taken major strides to strengthen its resources and opportunities to accommodate the growing demand for content that supports the evolution of risk management.  At RIMS 2015 Annual Conference & Exhibition, 19 chapters were honored for membership growth, including RIMS Australasia Chapter that experienced a 126 percent increase and RIMS Manitoba Chapter that experienced a 38 percent increase in membership in 2014.

 

The chapters were presented with the Society’s Membership Growth SuperStar and Star Awards recognizing these accomplishments.  The Membership SuperStar Award honors chapter growth of at least nine percent. The Star Award recognizes those chapters with growth of at least six percent but less than nine percent.

 

Recipients of the 2014 Membership SuperStar Award are:

•    RIMS Golden Gate Chapter (San Francisco, CA)

•    RIMS Greater Quad Cities Chapter (Muscatine, IA)

•    RIMS Iowa Chapter (Des Moines, IA)

•    RIMS Manitoba Chapter (Winnipeg, CAN)

•    RIMS Northern Nevada Chapter (Reno, NV)

•    RIMS Rocky Mountain Chapter (Denver, CO)

•    RIMS Saskatchewan Chapter (Saskatchewan/Regina, CAN)

•    RIMS Southwest Florida Chapter (Naples, FL)

•    RIMS Toledo Chapter (Toledo, OH)
