RIMS Recognizes 11 Chapters for Exceptional Membership Growth
RISK PRACTITIONERS ACROSS NORTH AMERICA TURN TO
RIMS FOR NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES & PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT
NEW YORK (April 17, 2012) — To recognize their success in attracting new members, RIMS (the Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc.) presented a total of 11 regional chapters with the SuperStar Award and the Star Award at the RIMS 2012 Annual Conference & Exhibition in Philadelphia.
The SuperStar Award is presented to RIMS chapters that have shown growth of more than nine percent. The Star Award recognizes those with growth rates of at least six percent but less than nine percent.
“Over the past year, RIMS has revamped its mission and strategic goals to reflect the evolving industry but, more importantly, to ensure that our chapters continue to provide members with the most relevant information, resources and opportunities,” said RIMS Executive Director Mary Roth. “On behalf of the entire organization, I would like to congratulate this year’s SuperStar and Star recipients for their success and dedication to strengthening the Society and the discipline.”
Recipients of the 2011 Membership SuperStar Award are:

- RIMS Mexico Chapter
- RIMS British Columbia Chapter
- RIMS Northern Alberta Chapter
- RIMS Alaska Chapter
Recipients of the 2011 Membership Star Award are:
- RIMS Ohio River Valley Chapter
- RIMS Newfoundland/Labrador Chapter
- RIMS Arizona Central Chapter
- RIMS Northeast Florida Chapter
- RIMS South Texas Chapter
- RIMS Northeast Ohio Chapter
- RIMS Iowa Chapter
