Insurance fraud is a topic on everyone’s mind. According to the Coalition Against Insurance Fraud, $308 billion dollars are spent on fraudulent claims annually. Insurance fraud costs each and every one of us about $1,000 a year, $39,000 per family, and $73,000 per person over a lifetime. More importantly, social attitudes towards insurance fraud are shifting.

In this session we will cover the Coalition Against Insurance Fraud’s study on the shifting attitudes of the public about insurance fraud, what that means in the commercial market, and how the relationship between the customer, broker and insurance carrier needs to shift to a stronger and more collaborative partnership.
