Alex Creswell left the British government in 2020 after 27 years in a variety of National Security roles, often including a technology angle. He has led an operational division of GCHQ (the UK equivalent organization to NSA) and served in the Cabinet Office, directing the team of analysts (the Joint Intelligence Organization) which provides the British Prime Minister’s daily briefing and strategic assessments for the NSC. From 2017, Alex was the Mission Lead for Cyber and Technology in the Foreign Office, working with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) to provide an important element of the UK’s operational defense against cyber threats. Alex served in Iraq, Afghanistan, Jordan, Mexico, and South Africa. He currently advises Beazley on cyber security and is Chair in AI and Digital at Manchester University.

Justin Patrick joined Beazley in 2018 as Southeast Regional Manager. Prior to joining Beazley, Justin worked for seven years for CNA in the Financial Institutions department focused on management and professional liability. Justin began his career on the broker side with Marsh USA having spent six years in the FINPRO group focused on larger publicly traded entities. Justin has 19 years’ experience in the insurance industry. He is currently the US Head of Large accounts for Cyber & Technology at Beazley.

Kelli Vanderlee manages FireEye Threat Intelligence’s Strategic Analysis team, which provides insight into technological and geopolitical trends, identifies potential risks to organizations, and delivers strategic assessments across adversary motivations. She previously analyzed state sponsored and cyber enabled information operations as well as hacktivist actors and campaigns.
