RIMS Global ERM Award of Distinction
Submissions Due: Friday, August 30
The RIMS Global ERM Award of Distinction honors organizations from around the world that have created value through their Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) programs. The award is presented annually at the RIMS ERM Conference.
Does your ERM program, or one you know of, deserve this recognition? We want to hear about it!
Provide responses to each of the three questions in 500 words or less:
- Why do you consider your organization’s ERM program to be successful, and how do you measure this success?
- Describe how your ERM program connects risk with strategy, performance, or budget/finance of your organization.
- Describe how your ERM program influences/fosters risk culture and sustaining capabilities.
Award Process
- Please complete the official form by Friday, August 30, 2024.
- If you'd like to save your form and finish it later, click the Save & Continue Later icon at the bottom of the form.
- An independent panel of ERM professionals will review the entries to select an overall winner or winners.
- The panel’s decisions will be final, including whether entries are eligible and, at the panel’s discretion, whether honorable mention or sector awards are given.
- RIMS will contact winner(s) no later than October 1, 2024, and invite the ERM leader (or member of the winning organization’s leadership team) to accept its award.
- Please confirm that an ERM leader from your organization can attend the conference to possibly receive an award in Boston on November 19.

Winners will receive the following:
- Award Trophy.
- One complimentary registration for the RIMS ERM Conference.
- Press release announcing your accomplishment.
- Invitation to be a guest on RIMScast, the Society's podcast.
